“And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.” Romans 8:28 (KJV)
As we chart our course in this world, we often hear people say things like “you win some, you loose some”, most talk about “luck” and a host of other worldly sayings which depicts how the world thinks; life is a matter of probability, sometimes we get what we want and sometimes we don’t. Basically, the world is not sure of life’s outcomes hence one might get “lucky”.
However, this is not so with the sons of God. The life of the kingdom and in the spirit is very predictable, that’s why our only work is to believe and practice the Word because the life in the Kingdom is sure, verified and endorsed by Jesus Christ. As a matter of fact, God predicts this for us through His Word like what our opening verse predicts. The life of the sons of God is a life of success heaped upon success because we hail from God our Father who never looses, we are born of the Word which never fails.
Failure, people say is an integral part of life, yes I concur but it’s the life of the world. In the kingdom’s realm, failure doesn’t exist, for our God has never nor will He ever fail. I know so many, maybe including you reading right now is probably thinking I make little sense, and it’s normal for anyone to think so.
We as sons of God, we are yet to fully come alive to the life our Father has already infused in us through His Son Jesus Christ. Jesus came that we might have life and have it more abundantly (John 3:6). The word Life there is from the Greek word Zoe which is the God-kind of life.
The lifestyle of any creature is conditioned by the life it has in itself. A plant lives the life of a plant because of the plant life inherent in it. So do animals and even humans. Jesus Christ’s coming to earth to save mankind, came to initiate mankind into the order of the God-kind – partakers of the divine nature.
“Whereby are given unto us exceeding great and precious promises: that by these ye might be partakers of the divine nature, having escaped the corruption that is in the world through lust.” 2 Peter 1:4 (KJV)
The reason why when Jesus was expatiating on the new birth to Nicodemus spoke in these terms;
“That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.” John 3:6 (KJV)
Being born again, we seize to be flesh; we become spirit; we become like God who is a Spirit (John 4:24). We take on the very nature of God; we are an entirely new creature; a new species; a new kingdom.
“Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.” 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV)
I know your spirit will be reconciled with this truth. God our Father through Jesus Christ has recreated us and replicated Himself in us – we are multiplied. It is time for us to break away from our humanity which is our greatest setback because our humanity is in direct contrast with the very nature of God. We are trapped in our past human mind through our knowledge and experiences. We are sons of God; we have the mind of Christ; we have the mind of God. Let us be transformed by renewing our minds by the Word. Let’s come alive to divinity and live the glorious life of the Father here and now.
As sons of God, we never loose: when we ‘loose’ we win, when we win, we win. All we do is win.Click To Tweet
